Nelle previsioni a breve termine i climatologi "toppano" spesso ora osano fare di più.
''Non sara' un'estate molto calda per l'Europa del sud. Potrebbe invece esserlo per quella del nord, con forti ondate di calore''. A dirlo il climatologo dell'Enea Vincenzo Ferrara, a margine della presentazione del rapporto dell'Istituto superiore per la ricerca e la protezione ambientale (Ispra) sui dati ambientali, a Roma.
In base alle previsione del Noaa (National oceanic and atmospheric administration, direttamente dipendente dal dipartimento del commercio Usa) - spiega Ferrara - l'estate che ci aspetta ''non dovrebbe essere particolarmente calda''. Anche se - avverte il climatologo - ''il Nino (il fenomeno simile ma opposta alla Nina) sta finalmente finendo e di conseguenza anche il raffreddamento dell'oceano Pacifico''.
Lasciamola arrivare questa estate no ?
